Flying bed, opens up space for new solutions!

Yesterday we celebrated the launch of our pilot project at Ydalir Hotel.

The core of the project is the MASE BED, a robotic bed that can be lifted to the ceiling, transforming a room from a bedroom to an office in an instant. The technology, developed by the founders of MASE Home, Susanne and Martin, is patent-pending and the first of its kind in Europe.

This marks an important step toward enabling more compact and flexible housing solutions. The solution was presented to over 40 participants from both the public and private sectors, with representation from Smedvig, architects, and Stavanger Municipality.

With this project, Ydalir Hotel and MASE Home are taking an inspiring step toward redefining how we use space, technology, and design for a sustainable future.
